Kumana National Park
Kumana National Park, also known as Yala East National Park, is situated in the eastern part of Sri Lanka and covers an area of 35,664 hectares. Elephants, leopards, and crocodiles are among the animals that live in the park. Kumana National Park is also a great place for birdwatching, with over 200 species recorded, including the endangered Sri Lanka frogmouth and the painted stork.
